Spotlight: Regressive 10yo who has struggled for the most part this year but took a step back in the right direction when fifth of 13 at Hamilton recently in first-time tongue-tie (retained); two C&D wins and not ruled out each-way.

Spotlight: 12-race maiden who has been well beaten in his last two runs but he failed to see out 1m2f last time and was placed a few times earlier in the year, going close over C&D in March; each-way possible now back down in trip.

Spotlight: 7yo whose sole win (from 19 attempts) came back in 2021 but she went close at Southwell (1m, Tapeta) last month and again finished second in a Yarmouth classified last time; could be bang there once more.

Spotlight: His mark continues to fall but for good reason and he made it 0-11 when dropped back to 1m and merely fifth at Southwell (AW) last time.

Spotlight: Well beaten on first three starts and same story when 33-1 for handicap debut at Redcar (1m) in April; lots of improvement is needed.

Spotlight: Not at the top of his game on his last three starts but two were on turf (on which he's 0-15) and he was forced wide at Wolverhampton in between; this six-time AW winner (including twice here) is on a handy mark and is not discounted now back on AW in first-time blinkers.

Spotlight: 4yo who remains lightly raced but hasn't shown enough in his three handicaps to suggest he's the one to be on today.
